Over the past two months, our team, comprising experts from the Automation and IT, Electrical Design, and Service and Maintenance departments, has successfully completed the first phase of implementing the new process control system at a filtration plant of the Heineken brewery in Karlovac.

The migration to a new, advanced process control system for brewery filtration was preceded by a series of demanding tasks, including software development, installation of the new PCS equipment, reorganization of the Profibus network, installation of the new IT infrastructure, I/O testing, and water trials.

With this project, our client now gets a modern and reliable software solution that supports its production processes in a safe and cyber-threat-resilient environment.

Our successful partnership with one of Montelektro’s earliest clients continues as we move forward with upcoming projects to migrate process control systems throughout the rest of the brewery.
