Montelektro’s Opeations Director, Mr. Damir Galović, formally presented the donation to Professor Miroslav Vrankić, PhD, and Vedran Jurdan, PhD, representatives of the Department of Automation and Electronics.
This donation has equipped the Electronics Laboratory with six new measurement sets, each including a function generator, an oscilloscope, and related accessories.
An oscilloscope is a fundamental instrument in electronics, used to display and analyze electrical signals by showing voltage changes over time as waveforms. Its broad applications in electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, and automation make it essential for testing, analysis, and diagnostics of electrical circuits and systems.
The new equipment will help students conduct laboratory exercises more effectively and apply theoretical knowledge in practice. It will also support the ongoing development of the Faculty’s laboratory and research capabilities, which is increasingly important given the rising interest in electronics, automation, and related engineering programs.
During the handover ceremony, Faculty of Engineering representatives emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration and the broad benefits these partnerships provide to society. They also thanked Montelektro’s management for recognizing the Faculty’s needs and supporting ongoing improvements in teaching and research through this generous donation.
On behalf of Montelektro’s management, Mr. Damir Galović expressed satisfaction in supporting this valuable initiative. He noted that technology companies like Montelektro play a key role in the education and professional development of future engineers, whose expertise will drive economic and technological progress. He also expressed confidence that the successful partnership between Montelektro and the Faculty of Engineering will continue through future joint projects and initiatives.
