As the each new school year begins, Montelektro has launched its annual promotional tour aimed at major Croatian faculties that educate future electrical and computing engineers.

The first stop on this tour was the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, which hosted the seventh edition of its Open Door and Career Days (DOVIK).

This career event brought together over thirty companies seeking to hire future engineers and provided numerous opportunities for students, including scholarships, internships, and student job placements.

At Montelektro’s booth during the DOVIK event, students had the opportunity to speak with former alumni from the same faculty. These alumni, now engineers at Montelektro, shared insights about the company, a typical workday at Montelektro, and the various professional growth opportunities available.

Tomislav Vukovski, an experienced engineer and Team Leader in the Automation and IT Department at the Slatina office, delivered a presentation for students interested in learning about what “programming code for beer” means and what the life of a Montelektro engineer looks like while traveling around the world.
