Commercialization of Innovations
Within the call “Commercialization of Innovations” under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026, published by the Ministry of Economy and Development, Montelektro has executed the project “Process Innovation for the Purpose of Commercializing the Innovative ZERO X Solution for Factory Automation.”
The project, co-financed by the European Union, started in June 2022, and lasted until June 2024. The goal of the project was to innovate essential production and delivery processes of the ZERO X solution for factory automation as a necessary step toward its commercialization.
The ZERO X project was developed as a result of many years of experience and knowledge gained within Montelektro. The product is a comprehensive software solution for automation projects in the brewing industry, including configuration settings, control module software, computer visualization, and a machine learning component.
The product commercialization strategy and entry into new markets involve enhancing activities related to promotion and sales. For promotion, the focus is on the company’s participation in international trade shows (drinktec 2022, BrauBeviale 2023, Anuga FoodTec 2024), which are specialized for the brewing sector. These events offer opportunities not only to showcase the product but also to build new business connections, observe industry trends, and monitor competitors.
The project’s implementation has facilitated the commercialization of the ZERO X solution and boosted the company’s competitiveness in the market by enabling the export of products and services tailored to clients.
Participation in the innovation process has allowed company employees to acquire new knowledge and experience, while the project’s execution has positively impacted sales revenue growth as well as export revenue.
