Strengthening International Competitiveness through Participation in Global Trade Fairs
With the support of EU funds Montelektro will empower its global market position
Within the framework of the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021–2027, and based on the Call for Proposals for the award of grants, Montelektro is implementing the project “Strengthening International Competitiveness through Participation in Global Trade Fairs.”.
The project, co-financed by European Union funds, started in April 2025 and will run until April 2027. During this period, Montelektro will strengthen its international market position in the food and beverage industry by organizing participation at key trade fairs dedicated to the food and brewing industries:
- drinktec, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, held at the Munich Trade Fair in Germany from 15–19 September 2025
- Alimentaria FoodTech, held at the Barcelona Trade Fair in Spain from 6–8 October 2026, specializing in technology and innovation in the food industry
- BrauBeviale, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from 12–14 November 2026, focused on the brewing and beverage industries
- Anuga FoodTec, held in Cologne, Germany, from 23–26 February 2027, brings together the entire food industry – food and beverage producers as well as equipment manufacturers.
As one of the leading Croatian companies in engineering and control system integration, Montelektro will use these trade fairs to showcase high-quality engineering services and turnkey solutions to a wide range of new potential clients and partners.
Through these activities, the company aims to further strengthen its brand, create new business opportunities, and increase the number of contracts, thereby enhancing its competitiveness on the global market and generating additional collaboration agreements and orders.
The main objective of the company’s participation in these trade fairs is to showcase technological excellence and innovations in automation and the digitalization of production within the food and brewing industries.
In addition to presenting solutions in industrial automation and IT, digital transformation, electrical engineering design, and electrical power distribution, the main focus of the trade fair presentations will be on introducing the powerful DFP solution, which enables the digitalization of production processes from the entry of raw materials into the plant to the exit of finished products ready for market distribution.
DFP – Digital Factory Portal is a software platform that enables process digitalization, cost optimization, increased efficiency, and improved product quality, fully meeting the needs of modern industry.
The results of previous projects involving trade fair participation clearly confirm that this marketing tool is one of the most effective strategic channels for export development and for establishing and strengthening partnerships for business expansion.
Therefore, this project aims to achieve an 18% increase in export revenues, a 20% increase in sales revenues, and the conclusion of 15 new export contracts.
