After several months of preparation Montelektro’s automation experts have successfully migrated the control system of the Holcim Koromačno cement plant to the Siemens MinAS PCS.

As a precondition for delivering such a complex project, our engineers had to upgrade their skills by attending MinAS training in Siemens Training Centre in Germany last summer.  

The work scope of the first phase that covered the most significant part of the factory included replacing the servers and workstations, Factory acceptance test (FAT) of the MinAS software, and commissioning of the new system.

This cooperation continues the long-standing successful collaboration between Holcim Croatia and Montelektro. By replacing the obsolete equipment, the production continuity and easier maintenance of the plant’s control system have been ensured.
