In June 2021, the company Montelektro d.o.o. started with the implementation of the project “Montelektro 4.0 – the digital transformation of the company business”.
The project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020, using the Instrument Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe – REACT EU and after applying project following the public call for the delivery of the project proposals “Strengthening the competitiveness of companies by investing in the digital and green transition.“.

Project summary:
The project addresses the lack of engineering, spatial and technological capacities of the companies to fulfill increasing demands of the industrial automation market and the digital transformation of the business model to system integrator 4.0.
The specific goal of the project is to strengthen the company’s competitiveness by a) reconstructing the building for administration and production in Kastav; b) implementing the advanced technologies and IT infrastructure for digitalization of the commissioning the production phase; c) purchasing new technologies for digitalization and automation of the production of hardware system; d)introducing innovative production processes and implementing digital transformation units.
The target public of the projects is company management and employees.
The goals of the project:
The expected project result is increased competitiveness by strengthening production, infrastructural and technological capacities, increased commissioning effectiveness with virtualization, the improved and digitalized production process of the electrical cabinets , and finally, gained conditions for digital transformation system-integrator 4.0.
The successful project implementation will enable the following results:
• four newly introduced technological solutions
• Increase in export revenues by> 25%
• Increase in sales revenue by> 25%
• Retain 161 existing employees and new job positions for 12 people
