For VIRO d.o.o. sugar factory in Virovitica, Croatia Montelektro d.o.o. is the supplier of automation system for gradual reconstruction and improvement of the sugar production technological process. Realization is agreed to be done in steps depending on the available financial resources and by priorities defined by the client. Projects realization includes cooperation with other companies that delivered mechanical equipment and technology: BMA – Extraction, Klemens Senkowski – Refinery.
Goal of the reconstruction is to gradually increase the capacity of the plant from 4.000 to 6.000 t/day sugar beet processing, as well as rationalization of the energy consumption per product unit.
Automation hardware is based on the Siemens Simatic CPU 416 PLCs and ProfiBus as field level network. Visualization system is based on GE Fanuc iFix software and Ethernet as communication network. Visualization system includes recipe management and data acquisition with report management.
